Holiday Rates are rates that require a traveller to book for a certain period of days, or at a different rate during the long weekends, or any busy part of your season.  Including a Holiday Rate can be useful as it requires the traveller to book for the whole long weekend, and not just a day, as to not hold up sites.

This way you will not have multiple different travelers trying to stay in a single spot over a long weekend, so you are able to optimize your sites and time maintaining them.

To add Holiday Rates, select Rates under the Finance tab on the dashboard. Search for and select your campground/s. Click on the green button with a plus sign on the left hand side of the screen to create a new rate.

  • Start by changing the Rate Type to Holiday.

Provide a name for the date. Here we are indicating that the Powered Sites will have to be booked for all 3 days of May long weekend. You should name the Holiday Rate to something that makes it easy for the traveler to understand what type of site it is.

  • Make sure your rate is checked as Activated by clicking the green box across from Rate Type.

  • You can also change the cost for these dates in the Price Per Night box and the Price Per Extra Adult Per Night box.

  • Check which sites are applicable to the rate you are creating.

  • As always, remember to hit Save at the bottom of the screen.
